Why prices vary by city. Rates differ ₹50–₹300 per 10g across cities due to local bullion association fixing, transport cost and demand. Retail jewellery billing adds making charges (typically 8–25%) plus GST on top of the bullion rate — see the GST Tariff Rates page for the 3% precious-metals rate.
